SEA AND LEAGUE CADET UNIFORM AND EQUIPMENT LIST

The $150.00 for young men, or $175.00 for young women paid to Alamo Battalion for your Seabag covers the cost for the following items:

• Dress whites (non-hemmed)
• Dress blues (non-hemmed)
• Salt & Peppers if League Cadet (black pants/white shirt)
• 3 sets of dungarees (non-hemmed)
• 3 chambray shirts
• 2 Sets of BDU's
• Neckerchief
• Ball cap
• Dixie cup or combination cap (or garrison, if League)
• Black web belt and silver buckle
• White web belt
• Utility jacket
• White skirt or black skirt (if needed)
• Seabag.

To complete your sea bag for summer boot camp, cadets will need to purchase the following additional items: NOTE: Links to equipment suppliers will be listed on “Equipment” page.

Male and Female Cadets

• Black low cut Dress Shoes (Navy issue/all leather only)
• Boondockers or Black High Top Safety Boots.
• Athletic Shoes
• Name Tags (black plastic engraved. Last name only)
• Name Strips (can be ordered from Alamo Battalion for $3.50 each)
• 6 White Crew neck T-shirts
• 4 pr black socks
• 4 pr white socks
• 4 white handkerchiefs
• 3 white bath towels
• 3 white wash clothes
• Shower Shoes
• PT/Gym shorts dark blue (no short shorts)
• Shoe Shine Kit
• 2 Locks
• Rain Coat
• NSCC/NLCC/NAVY ball cap (issued)

Male

• 6 White undershorts
• 1 Dark blue or Navy swim trunks
• 2 Athletic supporters
• 1 Shaving Kit (Including shaving gear, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap and holder, body talc, deodorant)
• (Optional) Suncreen SPF #15 or more

Female

• 1 Summer White Skirt
• 1 Combination Cover Beret (hat)
• 6 White undergarments
• 2 Pair Fleshtone hose
• 1 Swimsuit (one piece, prefer dark blue or Navy issue)
• 1 Personal Hygiene Kit (Including razor, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, hand soap and holder, body talc, deodorant)
• (Optional) Sunscreen SPF #15 or more
• (Optional) Sanitary napkins

Notes:

1. NSCC Flashes MUST be sewn on All Jumpers, Shirts and Jackets. (access the National Sea Cadet website @ http://www.seacadets.org for pictures)
2. NSCC Rank Chevrons may not be worn until you have returned from recruit training.
3. Cadets last name must be sewn by embroidery patch (preferred) or stenciled over the right shirt pocket of the chambrey shirt and the right hip pocket of the dungaree trousers.(access the National Sea Cadet website @ http://www.seacadets.org for pictures)
4. All Seabag items need to be stenciled/marked with the cadets last name except dress uniforms (see below).
5. Dress uniforms will be stenciled with permanent ink on the manufacturer’s tags.
6. This list is for Summer Boot Camp only.Each TWT (two-week-training) will have their own seabag requirements, which you will normally receive along with your orders. In most situations, you will already have most of what is required for the TWT.
7. Uniforms DO NOT come tailored/hemmed. You are responsible for the proper fit of your uniforms. If your uniforms are not tailored/hemmed to fit, you are out of uniform.
